should he have one?

Ok, is it just me, or does the thought of having a pig as a pet freak you out? I don't know about the rest of the world, but when I think of getting a pet, I think of a dog, a cat, a bunny, maybe a hamster even...but a pig! A pig?! Are you kidding! What can a pig do? Roll in the mud, dirty up your yard, make you gag from the smell!

Now usually, I wouldnt care about someone wanting a pig as a pet, but this is Philomedy. And for those of you who dont know, Philomedy is my boyfriend, so that means I would have to live with the ungodly thing, and thats not happening.

Now, my dear Philomedy seems to think that everyone out there will agree with him about a pig being a good pet. Me personally, I think hes wrong. So, now its up to you. If someone can come up with a useful reason as to why I should let Philomedy have a pig, then a pig he will have.

Any takers?

Oh, I believe a pig could make an awesome pet. They're very smart and can be trained quite well. I doubt that it will get much more smelly than any other pet you could have. Just make sure it gets a bath and it could be quite the novelty pet.

I say go and get one!

You'd think so...but they are actually quite good pets. Emus are a strange pet....and I have some. I'll definately into having crazy pets. You should do some research on pigs....they may not be as gross as you think.

I too, am into having weird pets. I had a duck once named Quacker! He was cool. He didn't stink. He was clean. He didn't have to have mud...

I love pigs! They're so cute! I'd like to have one, but I already have an oinker in the family. Still, if I had the space, I wouldn't mind having a pig. They're so fat and cuddly and they oink!
You two could also compromise and get a tiny pig. I'm sure they come in different sizes.
